Hey everyone!! Wanted to share a couple of links and give an update...

We have been quite as of late because we are planning. I have ventured into the world of technology and will only come out when I get what I need for Beaumont and the Stretch Movement as a whole. I can say it is an incredible undertaking, but the end results will be beautiful. There will be more updates soon, but that is where my focus currently rests.

Stretch, BAM, and the future of Jazz!!

Hey everyone! So excited to have my first article for All About Jazz published today!! A huge thank you to Michael Ricci!! As the Stretch Movement grows it will do so cell by cell, and Mr. Ricci just helped us out a great deal! The fist piece deals with why we started "Stretch" and why BAM and Jazz are insufficient descriptions of the music we make. Hello All!

Last week was a big week for the Stretch Movement! I, saxophonist John Beaty did indeed break the world world record for longest note in one breath. Check out the video here: www.youtube.com/watch
Now we send off the proof to be made official!

Then, last weekend Beaumont, Chris Ward's "Machinenmensch", and Zaccai Curtis's "Zaccai" started off the Stretch Movement! Yes, the first gig is in the can. We will be releasing audio of the event shortly! Such an amazing time to be a part of right now!

We are also happy to announce that stretchmovement.org is in the works! Soon to follow is Stretch Fashion and more shows! Please continue to check back here and share this website with all you know!

Welcome to my first post of the Stretch Era!

Beaumont is getting our show together for December 3 at the Delancey, and things are taking of with the petition!! If you haven't read it please check it out here: www.mymomthinksimgreat.com/petition

Please help educate people with us. It is amazing that people expect Jaz musicians to starve and suffer after paying so much for education. That is the greatest tragedy. Know your worth! For all those standing with us, thank you!!
